Free eBook Download!

by Marcus Jordan on August 7, 2012

Well it’s been awhile since the last time we’ve I’ve posted on Sir Indie.com, but for good reason.

I have finally completed the eBook I’ve been mentioning on Twitter and for your continued patience with me, here’s your free download!

Purpose

The concept for this eBook came up some time because in discussions with colleagues, material and content presented by other authors, and the general ideology of Niche’ Marketing focused on the importance of this strategy but little on the “how-to”.  The How-To is addressed with this edition.

Now I’m not promising you’re going to like the process, the amount of energy needed, and the length of time invested to make it happen (I winced once or twice while researching, a little tear when editing), but the point is to gain results (selling products, services, and/or building loyalty).

By the end of this compact eBook you’ll understand:

  • what the most pertinent steps are to consider
  • how to execute each step
  • some examples on how to do just what each of the 3 steps state, and
  • hopefully some fun along the way.

And don’t worry, this isn’t a world map to Enlightenment, but rather a direct route to the good stuff–you should finish this in no time.

Would love your feedback in the Comments section below.  Enjoy!  Click here or the cover below to start reading yours today!

To Pause or Keep Going..

by Marcus Jordan on May 2, 2012

What happens when you have projects to complete, yet don’t have an idea or the motivation to do it at the moment?

Day in and day out, you’re constantly working and plugging away towards completion but today, you’re exhausted!  Should you: take a break…or be the Over-Achiever?

If you ask loved ones, they’ll say to take a break; where Ambition reminds you that the competition isn’t sleeping.

“Do What Na’?”

So what to do?  Do what you need to do.

If you’ve been pushing, pushing, and pushing some more for weeks and months on end, then a nap may not be bad idea.  Only you know what your body can handle.  However, if your situation wasn’t described above then you have some work on your hands.  Embrace the Over-Achiever within.

If you’re just looking for a reason to be lazy, I can’t help you here.  But being overwhelmed isn’t too good either, so this is for you:

  • First things first, recognize what responsibilities you can relinquish
  • Delegate and focus your time and energy on priorities (tasks that can only be done by you)
  • Work hard and smart, but work smarter

Productive vs Busy

Being productive doesn’t mean being busy.  Being productive means your busy being productive.

  • Focus
  • Base your Productivity Gauge by Results achieved, not by Time
  • Take a 5-10 minute breather every hour (rest your eyes, bathroom break, etc)
  • Repeat

Give it a try.  See how this process works for you.  If it works, comment below.  If it doesn’t, do the same…comment below.  ;)

April 4, 2012

The Issue Your Life has become the definition of Murphy’s Law. Creatively Confident, Innovatively Fearful?

March 21, 2012

It’s been a little over 60 days since the launch of Artist Hub with Google Music and I haven’t heard much about it since November 2011. Quite disappointing. I became an admirer, of sorts, so much that Google’s “new” initiative made me re-think the strategy and approach of my company.  With a platform that allowed [...]
